Miguel Mendoza is the Founder and CEO of Automated Data Systems SA (Mexico) and Laredo Quality Tools Inc. (USA), established in 1983 and 1986 respectively. With academic foundations in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, and executive training from IPADE (AD2 Management Program), Miguel also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt certification. He actively shapes the future of engineering education as President of the Mechanical Engineering Council and member of the Mechatronics Council at Tecnológico de Monterrey (MX), and serves on the Industry Advisory Board at the University of the Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX). Last but not least, he is a longstanding contributor to the International Smart Factory Summit and collaboration platform.
